My Work
Over the years my work has focused on the intrinsic themes of colour and nature. I respond intuitively to subject matter, exploring all possibilities towards the invention of a visual language. I am always striving to create an image which communicates an essence of a place and a moment in time. These images can relate to my surroundings or landscapes experienced through travel.
I would like to think that my work creates a sense of optimism and has a celebratory feel. I work with the process of mono silk-screen combined with painting and collage. This allows me to create a unique image layering shape and colour, leading to many often surprising and radical changes through a process of addition and elimination.
