Food-art Art-food


Last week I was asking whether artists make good cooks and if there is a connection between food preparation and art creation and within days Sue and I find ourselves at an art exhibition where we are invited to taste a canape that had been inspired by a painting. The colours matched; smoked salmon, yogurt and herbs and nectarine (or was it plum?) I can't think of anything edible that is turquoise in colour so I'll let that go. When I next pick up my paintbrush I'll try and add an imaginary taste layer and see where that takes me.
